The U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM) is inviting proposals for the Reception and Placement (R&P) Program for the fiscal year 2022. The deadline for submission is July 2, 2021, at 11:59:59 p.m. Eastern Time. The R&P Program aims to support the successful reception and placement of individuals admitted to the U.S. under the Refugee Admissions Program.
Refugees are defined as individuals admitted under specific sections of the Immigration and Nationality Act. The Bureau plans to award Cooperative Agreements to qualified non-profit organizations that can provide a variety of services through multiple locations across the country. Organizations with a proven track record in past agreements with the Bureau, as well as those meeting certain criteria, are encouraged to apply.
Eligible applicants must meet several requirements, including being established social service providers with experience in case management, having non-profit status for at least three years, demonstrating private financial support for the program, and maintaining operations in multiple U.S. locations.
